    Most of the information at Casablancapa is speculation. If they have direct knowledge of grand jury testimony and divulge it, then they're committing a felony (which I doubt) and should be locked up. Most likely they're political shills trying to contain the enthusiasm for Corbett. Regardless of their motives, annonymity and credibility don't mix well. If indictments are immminent, we will all know the truth soon. In the meantime, Casablancapa is just so much blather.

    My information is that Casablancapa is run by Mike Veon and Brett Cott and that the purpose is to demonstrate that "everybody did it" and their prosecution is selective and unfair. They make a good case that everybody did it. Lines were unclear because neither Ds nor Rs wanted bright lines. Corbett is doing it to himself. My source is not from Casablancapa. There are other ways to find out who will be indicted that what Grand Jury says. Most of it is reading the tea leaves but there are some very good tea leaf readers in Harrisburg.

    I couldn't agree more with "everybody did it". If they prosecuted all who broke the law, we'd need a special election just to get a quorum in either body. It's leadership we need to nail. Let's hope they get a few of them. Harrisburg is a cesspool and we all know what floats to the top (hint: it isn't cream).

    One can infer that if "everybody did it", logically, every leader did it. Exactly, cut off the head and kill the snake.

    There seems to be indications that State GOP was paying Brian Nutt. What does the State GOP filing show? I have to think that if I know it, the Gerlach campaign knows it and are not happy that State Committee is once again fixing the game.

    Did that last article seem to be missing a point? Probably because it was missing a paragraph!

    When Republican Attorney General Ernie Preate was convicted of mail fraud in 1995, whom did Democratic Governor Bob Casey appoint as his replacement? Republican TOM CORBETT. Yeah, that's right: TOM CORBETT. Remember? Of course you do.

    Seems the "good" Signor thought he was poking a hole in an argument by pointing out this information. But it appears that his memory is hazy, because it was TOM RIDGE who appointed Corbett.

    Obviously he is far to busy to print a retraction and admit a mistake, so I'll just do it for him.

    I am hearing with increased certainty that John Perzel and Brian Preski, as well as "little fish" , will be indicted as early as Thursday. Tom Corbett may do what is right after all. Let us see.

    Is it within the Judge's order stopping defendants from twittering from the court during the trial, that the law partner of one of the Defense lawyers keeps doing that; even tweeting about objections and legal arguments as to how the Judge "should" rule. Surprised about that.

    @Freddie
    If the defendants have legal representation, which I assume they do, it would be very wise of that representation to advise them not to speak about the case in public. Tweeting would be extremely public. Of course, the judge has broad discretionary power over how those in the courtroom will comport themselves. The only place to appeal this decision would be in the state supreme court and I doubt the court would see this issue as exigent. Hope that helps.
