Pa State Senator Lisa Baker was present at yesterday's hearing.
    Today there was more testimony.

This is a report by Andy Mehalshick

Judge John Cleland is chair of this group. LISTEN to some of Judge Cleland's opening remarks here on WILK 103.1FM website:

The Luzerne County Courthouse scandal is once again taking center stage. A special state panel is holding hearings in Luzerne County.

It's been called the worst case of judicial corruption in the history of the United States. The questions ............................

Here is some of the reports by Times Leader reporter Mark Guydish below.

I am currently listening to WILK 103.1 FM.
The testimony is given and most of the people run from the press.

Brulo defended herself as not wanting to be a party pooper.
She claimed that she was told not to be a party pooper.

Luzerne County District Attorney Jackie Musto Carroll admitted that this is not the popular public opinion but defended some of the "good" actions of Judge Ciavarella.

Some of the testimony today indicated that it appeared everyone was on the same page.

I must say I agree with WILK reporter Steve Corbett.
Statements made to promote whatever "good deeds" does not cancel out the arrogant disregard for the law and denial of appropriate represention for these children.

    Who was complacent?
    Who knew what and when?

    Where was the responsiblity?

The next scheduled meetings will be in December.

i know it might pain you, but your own State Representative, Todd Eachus was the prime sponsor of the bill creating the commission. i would be amazed if you gave him any credit, but i also know you like posting nothing but the truth.

Todd Eachus' office is under investigation. He just jumped in on the "politically correct or whatever is the popular thing to do" wagon. I do not agree with his tight connections in the Governor's office. I am not on board with everything these two leaders support. I believe it is a GOOD OLE BOY....football network.

That is why I do not praise Todd Eachus.
    That is my opinion.

Be brave MS. DEAKOS AND START YOUR OWN BLOG COMMENTARIES. YOU ARE ALSO IN ATTACK MODE.

I have some ideas for you. You pride yourself as a talented intelligent woman.
IN fact math is a specialty for you. Make suggestions for our area schools. We need that around here.
I know you can think of great article titles. I would be interested in commenting on your own writing someday. Start with the officials you support.

where do you read that his office is under investigation? do you spread rumors on everyone but Lou? his tight connections with the Gov? they are from the same party!!!!!! you need to get a book on politics, your naive attitude will get you in trouble.

Jump on the bandwagon? he is the one that wrote the bill, and THEN Sen Baker joined in.

Eachus has two staff workers who were under investigation for pilfering taxpayer money under the Bonusgate scandal.

Yes, yes, Eachus swears he knew nothing about it, much like everything else.

In December there will be more juvenile justice hearings. I hope it is very clear about the locations, times and dates. I hope more individuals find confidence to follow Sue Henry's suggestion.

She asked the public if they believe the District Attorney's Office testimony at the Juvenile Justice hearings held this week in Luzerne County.

This morning WILK 103.1FM commentator Sue Henry stated: People, kids, young adults, parents need to testify.

"If you told them and they did not listen, if you have that moxy call Lisa Baker's Office." , Henry added.

By the way check out this Kathy Dobash photo on her website photo gallery:

turtle, be factual when you state things. none of the persons indicted did any of the work while working for Eachus. this activity was done prior to them being with him.

I am not going to jump on the Luzerne County Democrat Corruption Greed Machine bandwagon.

I certainly do not want to entertain the idea of an invitation to that from you ever again!

Turtle, i will show you a link and then you can tell me you are incorrect in your statement that a staff person of Eachus worked for him when she did what is charged of her,
