Emails are flying around inviting supporters of Tarah Toohil to an event on Tuesday, February 9th at 6P.M. it is being held at the Elks Lodge in Hazleton, It states she will be announcing her intention to run for the seat held by Todd Eachus.

Funny part of it is, she doesn't say what party she will be running on. the thing that really catches your eye is her tag line "We deserve better"

Better? With a freshman legislator will you get better if you live in

-Freeland, better than the $250,000.00 Eachus got for their new senior building or
-Butler Twp, better than the $1,500,000.00 grant for a new senior center and community hall
-West Hazleton, where Eachus secured $250,000.00 for their municipal center or
Hazleton where Eachus got millions for the intermodal center, got the State Auditor General to forgive the 2.5 million dollars Barletta misused from the Police pension or
-Foster Twp where Eachus got them a $2,500,000.00 grant for their sewer system
Greater Hazleton joint Sewer authority where he got $7,000,000.00 grant for the upgrade to the Sewer system
-Markle Building, where he secured $1,000,000.00 plus for their work
The list goes on and on and on...............

so Ms Toohil, "We Deserve Better" you are correct, we do deserve better than YOU offer us....... tell the Mayor you don't want to be used by him, he isn't a king-maker, he is a destroyer of lives, careers, and Hazleton City![b]

i find it curious that Toohil said she was snubbed by Democratic leaders in her quest to unseat Eachus. she would impress me if she actually listed WHO she was snubbed by.
it is easy to use that as a reason to change party's but i believe she would be hard pressed to give names.....

She's being used by Lou Barletta to harass Todd Eachus. It's a shame too, if she was willing to put in a little work and be patient, she could've been a successful Democrat (which is what she is at heart). Instead, she's ruining her ability to ever run as a Democrat in the future and will have to be Lou Barletta's pawn.

Lou is stupid. why would he want to bring out more Democrats in the General election when he has a hot race himself. if he had stayed out of Eachus's race he would have suppressed the vote Eachus will be getting out.

but then again, i am told that Lou ranked 235 out of 236 in his HS class.

i dont understand her line, "we deserve better" i swear one more lawyer talks this foolishly and i am going to law school! can it be that easy?

It's the type of statement someone makes when they don't know or don't care enough about actual issues facing the district.

I would suggest that he's using her as his own little Sarah Palin. Create a little extra buzz on the R side. Force Eachus to play a little defense and spend money. It's essentially electoral harassment. The whole thing's a scam.

She should've run for Musto's seat. Even if she was unsuccessful, she'd get her name out there and build up her tiny law practice. She could get established as a local Dem. This? This is silly.

I enjoy when i am correct, as i had stated Tarah Toohil would be making an announcement and would be introduced by America's Mayor Lou Barletta. you can watch it here, Toohil announcement

and I thought Lou, wasnt a politician........ oh how they just don't tell the truth......
