    LUKSIK HIRES CAMPAIGN MANAGER
Eichelberger Chief of Staff to Take Over Campaign Duties

(JOHNSTOWN, PA) – 02-24-2010 – United States Senate Candidate Peg Luksik today announced that Jason High, Chief of Staff to State Senator John H. Eichelberger, Jr. (R-30), has joined her team as Campaign Manager. High will be taking a leave of absence from his position with the State Senate to work for the Luksik campaign full-time.

"I am delighted to welcome Jason High to the team,” said Luksik. “He has a proven track record of success against the party establishment, coupled with an unyielding commitment to conservative principles. His ability to create an organization that reaches out to the people is a perfect match for my campaign."

High formerly served as Executive Director of the 'I Like Eich' campaign, which successfully defeated the 32-year incumbent President Pro Tempore of the State Senate in a bitterly fought primary. High has also hosted his own political talk radio program on Newstalk 1240 WRTA in Altoona, PA. A resident of Duncansville, PA, High has also written for various publications such as Human Events Online and the Philadelphia Evening Bulletin.

“At this time in the history of the United States, we need to elect strong conservatives that are committed to the Constitution to restore this nation's principles and prosperity,” High commented. “Peg is just such a conservative. She has a long history of taking on the tough fights to try to advance the principles of limited government, respect for life, and family values. I consider Peg not only the best candidate for U.S. Senate, but also a close personal friend and someone whom I have a great deal of respect for. It is an honor to be working to elect such an icon of the conservative movement.”

Luksik will face off against former Congressman Pat Toomey in the Republican Primary election on May 18, and go on to face the Democrat nominee in November. For more information, log on to http://www.pegluksik.com.
